Phew....finally finished my 1st play through of the game. Here's what I think about it.
Basically this review will be a rant, because there really isn't any redeeming grace.
a bit of trivia first, back in the days, when the first Dead Rising came out, i was still playing the ps2. i was very disappointed that it was an exclusive for the 360. THAT first DR game almost made me bought a console. The idea of just roaming around killing zombies with whatever you can find is just SICK ! I remember when i first heard the squeal will be multiplatformed, i was soooo excited, i finally got the chance to experience this game !

#1 Speed
The first thing you'll notice is that chuck (main protagonist) runs INCREDIBLY SLOW ! you're basically walking in the first 1,2 hours in the game, this is no joke. you have to gain speed by leveling up which is very stupid. Like many players already said, there should of been a sprint button like GTA...........

To make things worse .........

#2 Time limit
The game has a time limit on literally everything you do....now that just takes the fun out of everything, you get a walkie talkie call telling you to save 4,5 guys at the same time, to get to them, you have to run!! ignore everything on your way just go do this do that....if you want to save the survivors you HAVE To constantly do missions some times with no break in between(no time)....I know that you DONT have to save the survivors and fight the psychos, but when you're dropped into the sandbox game you would expect it to give you some free time to explore and do stuff....the constant ringing of the walkie and the ever renewing messages serves it's purpose in making it seem urgent, sadly it turns out making it look very pushy.

#3 MAP.
The game has no mini map, the only way to know where you're going is to pause the fucking game and open the fucking map. That a great games for example GTA, Red dead redemption, the mini map helps you to know your surroundings and if you're going the right directions, but Dead Rising 2 has none of that, it just have one stupid arrow on the top of the screen pointing you to your next mission, you can't place markers of the map you just have to fucking know the whole place or press fucking select every few minutes........CHRIST .....

Good luck remembering all save points and locations

#4. Save
Dead rising 2 provides you with 3 saving slots and 7 saving stations ....if dont know why this is...but this is a fucking stupid !! you MUST save at the toilet and most of the time, you're dont have time to go to your nearest(well.....they are spread out so you just have to be lucky enough to have one next to you) if you are unlucky( like me for almost 10 times) you'll encounter a psychopath when you're escorting or saving survivors if you get killed you there's no retry option, you have to go back to the last time you've saved !! this made me rage quite numerous times, since most save points are far from the psychos, you have to do all the bullshit you've done before, go alllll the way back to the place again and fight the SOB again...this is fucking retarded... why couldn't you give me an option to save before a fight? ...you think it's funny/challenging when you're ranking up 8 survivors to get back to the save house, when a psychopath kills you or one of them and you have to go alll the way back....noooo !!!! it's tedious as fuck !!!!!!!!! RAGE

//////tips//////
during the final 2 boss fights, you better not die or save before hand, or you'll have to go along way back..

#5 Smokers.
Nearing the end of the game, you'll encounter a new type of zombies called smokers, why they do is they run towards you and attack you with vomit....unlike other zombies, they are really quick. if you have to run past them you get a 60% chance of getting bit. furthermore, these zombies takes more damage ...meaning you can't just shove them off...by the end, you dont even want to explore you just want to do the fucking missions and see the ending, you can't stand still in one place for even a second to know what's around, these fuckers just piles on you like 30-40 zombies on screen just surrounding you........it's a chance of pace towards the enemy types, but they're so random, you dont even know how they were really created. the sum up, there just there to annoy you....

Conclusion
to those people who has got plat in this game i salute you, it just takes tooo much time and it stops being a fun game in just a few hours...

fuck this game.....one of the most frustrating gaming experience ever....

AC:B single player review

AC:B is a direct sequal of assassin's creed 2, (some say assassin's creed 2.5), i first thought this game was some lame expansion game for ubisoft to milk the franchise, however after playing the game, i'd have to say it's the best in the series.

AC:B takes off right after the cliff hanger in the second game,if you haven't played the second game, dont even try to get this, you'll get very confused with whats going on. (IMO skip AC 1 and play AC2 directly if you want to keep up the pace)

the whole game takes place in Rome, and the map is as big as the second game with much less loading screens. However i felt some areas in the map was poorly designed(or they needed to keep it accurate to the actual Rome, dont know ) there are places you NEED to get to, but they are located on some leveled ground, these places usually have only 1 correct route for you to access, making it EXTREMELY IRRITATING and FRUSTRATING after just running around trying to find a correct path.

Not to mention the horse riding in this game, you can summon your horse whenever in the game by pressing a button, Ubisoft claims that they have improved on the horse riding but for some sadistic reasons, the horse runs VERY F'N slow. You get around 3,4 times in the game where the horse really gallops but this only occurs when chasing someone in the story line(scripted you may say) This is very annoying since the outside of Rome(rural area) is so big and empty.

The story is great and keeps "True" with history, Ezio is now older and more mature, the character's growth from AC2 is very apparent, and its carried out by some great voice acting. If you're as curious as me (opening a wikipedia page and search for the characters actual history while playing the game) you are in for a treat. The Borgia family is well portraited and i'd have to say Ceasre (main antagonist) is pretty well done. (especially the scene with the pope near the end)

A new feature of this game is recruiting assassin's to help you through the game, although this doesnt really happen untill half way in the story, it's still very fun, if you've played Metal gear Peace Walker you'll be familiar with this feature, basicly you just help some random guy fight off a few guard, and he will become an assassin in return. you have to send them out for missions to gain exp to level up. They really do come in handy in some situations where you can't be spotted or overwhelmed in combat.

For treature/trophy hunters, this game is WAYYY better than the last one, remeber having to search the internet for maps and walkthroughs for the locations of feathers, remembers those time when you have 1 more feather to collect and you dont know WTF it's hidden. well, after better the game, you can purchase maps from the merchants for the flag and feather locations. i remember it took me 2-3 days to complete the feather collection in AC2, but now it only took me 2 hours !!!!

Finally, if you're a completionist, i highly suggest you to comeplete the game with a overall of 75% sync. you'll get to play though Ezio's love memory.(really good side quest)

It's a really fun game and deserves betters, would be GOTY for me.(yes i just said that)

next review will be about the multiplayer of the game....and oh boy.......
